Newton's Law

  • Newton's First Law
A body remains in a state of rest, or uniform motion in a straight line,
unless acted upon by a force.
Example: Tablecloth

  • Newton's Second Law
Newton's second law of motion is not something we can derive from other
equations. Rather it is a fundamental postulate of physics. It was introduced
by Isaac Newton to describe the cause of acceleration.

  • Newton's Third Law
Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
Example: Fire extinguisher rocket
